Lifestyle of Tega Cay

People in Tega Cay and its
surrounding neighbors, have varying reasons for becoming members
of their respective communities. A
school system that is
considered the best in the State,
low crime,
sub-urban/farm setting, a diverse socio-economic
population,
close proximity to Charlotte, a fabulous lake, prospects for
solid home valuations, etc. are to name a few. In fact many new
developments have opened up in close proximity over the years.
Palmetto Plantation [east & west], Waterstone, Carowoods,
Knightsbridge and the much-acclaimed Baxter Village are among
the subdivisions that have sprung up along the Gold Hill and Hwy
#160 corridors. Each location has its own flavor and satisfies
various lifestyle requirements while allowing for the sense that
we are all parts of a larger community. With this solid mix, we
can be sure that the area will continue to grow.
Charlotte is only 16 miles away!
We have access to all the countries 2nd Largest

Lake Wylie is ideal for boating,
fishing, water skiing and sailing. Tega Cay has 16 of the 325
miles of shoreline on the lake and has many recreational
opportunities. In fact the fishing is soooo good that the
2004 CITGO Bassmaster Classic will be on Lake Wylie from July
30-Aug. 1, 2004! All can enjoy this mature body of water from
one of the many public or private boat slips or waterfront
parks.
